Dean Hachamovitch, the general manager overseeing IE8, posted in his blog that Internet Explorer 8 will be out on the 1st half of 2009 after they release the first Release Candidate (RC) anytime on the first 3 months of 2009.
“We will release one more public update of IE8 in the first quarter of 2009, and then follow that up with the final release,” Dean Hachamovitch, the general manager overseeing IE8, said.
Currently, IE8 is on the 2nd beta since last August and can be downloaded at Microsoft’s website.
Internet Explorer is still holding the majority of browser martket share with 71.27% last october while Mozilla’s Firefox ranks 2nd with 19.8%.
